Spain manager Luis de la Fuente has announced the squad list of players for their upcoming UEFA Nations League fixtures, and two Real Madrid stars have been called up.
The 2026 World Cup winners take on Czechia away on 12 November before locking horns with England at home on 15 November in the Nations League.
And two Real Madrid players: Dean Huijsen and Marc Cucurella feature in the La Roja squad for the upcoming matches.
Having missed the World Cup, Huijsen has made his way back into the Spain setup following a solid start to the new season under the tutelage of manager Jose Mourinho.
However, it does not guarantee minutes for the Real Madrid defender, with the likes of Pau Cubarsi and Aymeric Laporte ahead of him in the pecking order.
Cucurella, meanwhile, has long been a permanent fixture in De la Fuente’s plans and will compete with Alejandro Grimaldo for a starting berth.
Real Madrid summer arrival Carlos Espi, who had earned a call-up to the senior team during the last break after an injury to Ferran Torres, has not been called up.
Alvaro Carreras and Raul Asencio, who is currently injured, also miss out.
With Spain facing England in their second match, Cucurella and Huijsen will come up against their Real Madrid teammates Jude Bellingham and Trent Alexander-Arnold.
