Coal City University debunks social media narratives on student-staff clash

The attention of the Coal City University Management has been drawn to a video currently circulating on social media and other platforms concerning an incident involving a student and members of staff of the University.

Management wishes to assure members of the University Community that the matter is receiving serious attention and that all relevant facts, evidence, and accounts relating to the incident are being carefully reviewed.

The University remains committed to the principles of fairness, due process, mutual respect, and the welfare of all members of the University Community. Accordingly, no final conclusions will be reached until all relevant information has been thoroughly examined.

The University does not tolerate misconduct by any member of its community, whether student or staff. Appropriate action will be taken against any person found culpable following a thorough and impartial review of the incident.

Members of the University Community are therefore advised to remain calm, refrain from spreading unverified information, and allow the University’s established processes to run their course.
