Clippers sign Baba Miller: Contract details for No. 36 overall pick

Former Cincinnati forward Baba Miller, the 36th overall pick in the 2026 NBA draft, has signed a contract with the LA Clippers, the team announced.

Miller was a second-team All-Big 12 selection last season, averaging 13 points, 10.3 rebounds, 3.7 assists and 1.2 blocks while shooting 52.9% from the field. He ranked ninth in the country in rebounding and 16th in defensive box plus-minus (plus-5.8).

The 6-foot-11 Spaniard reportedly agreed to a four-year, $9.61 million pact with the Clippers, according to Michael Scotto of HoopsHype. The first two years are guaranteed on the contract, which is the largest for a second-round pick this year.

Miller played the first two years of his career at Florida State and then transferred to Florida Atlantic before finishing at Cincinnati. He was the first Bearcat to lead the team in points, rebounds and assists since Oscar Robertson in the 1959-60 season.

The 22-year-old debuted with the Clippers on Thursday in the NBA Summer League, recording 12 points, five rebounds, three blocks and one assist in a loss to the Sacramento Kings. He went 3-for-4 from the field in 27 minutes.

Miller is highly touted for his versatility and ability to impact games in various ways. He will have the chance to continue working on his game throughout the rest of the Clippers’ stint in Las Vegas.
