China is strong but don’t fight like America – Iran President

· · 1 min read

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has singled out China for praise for concentrating on national and economic growth, while racing to catch up with the United States.

In a new interview with state media, Pezeshkian said despite increasingly developing its military capabilities, the second most populous nation doesn’t engage in wars like the U.S.

”Are China and the U.S. friends?” he asked rhetorically. “China is America’s greatest rival, yet why don’t they fight? China focuses on its own work and grows stronger every day.”

Speaking of the war, Pezeshkian insists Iran is in a battle for survival but knows when to fight, when to make peace, and when to mind its business if adversaries do the same.

The President explained that Iran initiated the recent military confrontations with ships in the Strait of Hormuz because they had violated regulations.

Pezeshkian also emphatically rejected the comments that claim Tehran disregarded some sections of the Memorandum of Understanding mediated by Pakistan.

“We firmly defend the memorandum we signed,” he stated, daring the accusers to point to “one single clause” his country breached before provocation.

The leader, however, maintained that certain countries—including Israel—are keen on war, saying Iran will not back down “if they try to force us into submission.”

Pezeshkian further vowed he would not resign but stand firm in the face of aggression. “I’m not afraid of martyrdom, it’s a great victory for me,” he declared.
