The Chicago Stars traded forward Jameese Joseph to the Utah Royals in a deal worth up to $750,000 in intra-league transfer funds through 2029. The transaction begins with a $300,000 base payment this year and conditional incremental opportunities.

Joseph arrived in Chicago in 2024 after being drafted in the second round of the NWSL draft, and made her professional debut in March of the same year. She ended up totaling nine starts in 23 appearances and played in Chicago’s sole playoff match.

The forward started 16 times in 21 appearances in 2025 and had 15 starts in 19 appearances for the Stars so far in the 2026 campaign.
