Amazon Prime Video host Charissa Thompson got a little spicy after the “Thursday Night Football” contest between the Chicago Bears and New England Patriots.
After the Bears and Patriots battled to a 30-24 finish that saw Chicago come out on top, Thompson led the postgame coverage as she normally does.
While the panel broke down the game, Thompson went on to crack a joke about her ex-husbands that was no doubt a break from the norm and gave us a good chuckle.
“I thought you were going to make me rank my good, better, best ex-husbands, and they’re all bad,” Thompson said to her co-hosts.

And, just like that, Thompson has become our new favorite football show host.
Was that the right time and place for a comment like that? No, but we loved it anyway.
It’s rare to see hosts of shows acting like a normal person, so it’s actually refreshing to see something so honest coming from Thompson.

It just goes to show that Thompson is someone you’d like to have a beer with. She doesn’t take herself to seriously and that’s awesome.
How many times have Charissa Thompson been married?
Thompson has been married twice. The 44-year-old’s first marriage came at the age of 25.
There aren’t many details about it, but we do know Thompson gave props to her first ex-husband for helping her through “sadness” in a 2016 Facebook post.
“When your ex-husband helps you through sadness and makes you smile,” she wrote. “He’s a hot mess and I appreciate him so much. Ladies, by the way he’s single! I’ll hook you up.”
Just when we thought she didn’t think her first ex-husband was that bad, which would have run counter to what Thompson said in her aforementioned joke, she threw in the second sentence, which is hilarious.

In December of 2020, Thompson got married again, this time to sports agent and former college baseball player, Kyle Thousand.
However, that marriage didn’t last long, as Thompson filed for divorce in April of 2022, citing “irreconcilable differences.”
She has since said she has no plans on ever getting married again.
“No, I will never legally get married again. I won’t sign any paperwork. But happy to have a party and celebrate how much I love Steve with friends and family,” Thompson wrote in an Instagram Q&A.

Thompson also opened up about her past love life on Kylie Kelce’s “Not Gonna Lie” podcast.
“I married the wrong people, plural,” Thompson said. “Just being with a man who is kind and doesn’t take from me is commitment enough for me.”
The “Steve” Thompson mentioned in the previous comment is Steve Cundari, who is her current boyfriend.
And, based on what Thompson has said, it looks like it’s going to stay that way.
