Applications are now open for the Central Queensland University Research Training Program (RTP) Scholarship 2027 in Australia. The scholarship is funded by the Australian Government and is available to both domestic and international students pursuing eligible research-based Master’s and PhD programs at CQUniversity.

Successful applicants can receive up to A$38,000 per year to support their living expenses, in addition to tuition fee support.

Eligibility Requirements

To be considered for the CQUniversity RTP Scholarship, applicants must:

• Be a domestic or international candidate enrolled in an eligible research higher degree program.
• Meet the admission requirements for a Master’s by Research or PhD at CQUniversity.
• Meet the university’s English language requirements.
• Not receive another equivalent scholarship or award intended to cover research degree tuition fees.
• Not receive income from another source to support their general living expenses.

Scholarship Benefits

The scholarship provides up to A$38,000 annually to assist successful research students with their living costs. Eligible recipients may also receive full tuition fee coverage for their research degree.

Selection is merit-based and considers academic achievement and writing skills, the quality and relevance of the proposed research project, research experience, motivation, and alignment with CQUniversity’s research priorities.

How to Apply

Interested applicants should first apply for an eligible research higher degree (Master’s or PhD) at CQUniversity. Applicants should then discuss their interest in an RTP Scholarship with their proposed supervisory team.

Following a recommendation from the supervisory team, prospective applicants may be invited by the School of Graduate Research to complete the scholarship application.
