Carolina Panthers fans react to devastating injury news

The Carolina Panthers received some devastating injury news during training camp. They may have lost linebacker Nic Scourton for the season with a right knee injury.

The team will run more tests to see the extent of his injury, but he had to be carted off the field, according to Cameron Wolfe.

“Panthers LB Nic Scourton suffered an apparent lower body injury in practice during team drills moments ago & was carted off.

Scourton was in tears as the cart left the field, and the whole team came to give him a hug when he left. A lot of emotions for a key player’s injury on Day 1 of camp:

Nic Scourton was unable to put any pressure on his right leg. It appears significant. Trainers were looking at his right knee. Teammates near him were visibly frustrated.

Scourton, a 2025 2nd-round pick, had 5 sacks last year & was expected to have a huge Year 2.”

Naturally, Panther fans are upset by the news and wonder what their defense will do without one of its best players.

The Panthers won the NFC South last year and almost upset the Los Angeles Rams in the first round of the playoffs.

Now they may have to do it without one of their best players.
