Can the Boston Celtics compete with a Philadelphia 76ers that has LeBron James and Jaylen Brown? The Celtics Atlantic Division rival has taken Boston’s second-best player in a trade likely motivated as much by the collective bargaining agreement (CBA) as it was by play style, and parlayed that into making their team a desirable landing spot for James in free agency.

With Tyrese Maxey and VJ Edgecombe already on the roster and on the cusp of becoming one of the better backcourts in the East if not the league, the addition of Brown likely locks up that status. There are still questions about the health of Joel Embiid and who will play the 4, but a lot of the worries in the frontcourt got boosted by LeBron coming to Philly this summer. Can Boston beat the squad their own choices helped spawn?

The folks behind the “Big 3 NBA” podcast put together a clip from a recent episode of their show. Take a look at the clip embedded below to hear what they had to say about where the Celtics stand vs. the new-look Sixers.
