Bucky Irving flourished in the run game as he achieved a new career record during the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ matchup against the Dallas Cowboys on Thursday night.
Irving has been playing in the NFL since 2024, going through his third season with the Buccaneers. Injuries hindered his sophomore campaign, being hopeful for a strong return to form in 2026.
It took some games for him to explode given Tampa Bay’s struggles going into Week 5, being winless within four contests. Irving finally boomed with a spectacular display against Dallas, racking up 21 rushes for 165 yards and a touchdown while catching two passes for 10 yards and a touchdown. His efforts ended up setting a new record in his career, per reporter Greg Auman.
