Now that the Denver Broncos have set their 53-man roster and 17-player practice squad, we know the names of the players who will represent the club this fall. But do fans (and commentators) know how to pronounce them?
The offense features Tyler “bah-DAY,” quarterback Sam “EL-in-gurr,” center Alex “FORE-seith” and offensive lineman Matt “payrt,” with those pronunciations coming from the club.
On defense, Denver’s squad includes safety Talanoa “who-FAWN-guh,” linebacker Justin “stir-NADD,” cornerback “zha-DAY” Barron and defensive lineman “en-YO-muh oo-WOZ-zur-EE-kay.”
And on special teams, long snapper Mitchell “fruh-BONE-ee” will handle snapping duties this fall. Other names to note, courtesy of the Broncos, are listed below.
