There are few brighter young stars in baseball than Jackson Chourio of the Milwaukee Brewers.
In Game 3 of the World Series, he notched four hits and became the only player in MLB history to have multiple two-hit innings in postseason history, according to MLB Network’s Sarah Langs. There have been 47 instances of a player getting two hits in the same inning in the postseason, and Chourio is the only repeat.
He notched two hits in the first inning of Game 1 of the 2025 National League Division Series against the Chicago Cubs, and in the fifth inning of Game 3 of the World Series.
He is only 22 years old, but has already recorded three 20-homer, 20-steal seasons in the big leagues. Not only has he done all of that, but he has risen to the occasion in all three postseasons he has played in.
Brewers' Jackson Chourio Stands Alone As
He has a .882 career OPS in the postseason, and already has six postseason home runs. He is already the Brewers’ all-time franchise leader for postseason home runs and RBIs.
What’s scary is that he is still growing as a player. He has already accomplished more at 22 than most players do in their careers. He is a Gold Glove Award finalist and could win World Series MVP as well.
However, like every player on this year’s Brewers, he is not playing for individual stats or glory. The entire team is playing for each other and is united in a common goal: bringing a championship to Milwaukee.
