Brad Keselowski needed a strong run before NASCAR’s final off-weekend of the 2026 Cup Series season, and he delivered. On Sunday afternoon, Keselowski finished in sixth place in the 2026 Brickyard 400 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. It was a much-needed result from the No. 6 team for RFK Racing.
Following the event, Keselowski spoke about his strong sixth-place finish in the Brickyard 400. The RFK Racing driver desperately needed some momentum.
“I thought we had a solid day. We put ourselves in position to have a top 10 day and ended up sixth,” Keselowski said. “We had a lot of good restarts and pretty good strategy, but that’s about all the speed we had. It’s your last chance to make something of the race, and once you get about a lap in, there’s no passing so you’ve got to make hay. We had three solid days for our RFK cars, which was good. Ryan Preece caught a little bit of a break there with getting the yellow at the right time and maximized his day, and I felt like we were just solid all day.”
This was Keselowski’s second straight top seven finish after a miserable stretch of results in the Cup Series. Entering the final four races of the 2026 Cup Series regular season, Keselowski sits 50 points behind the Chase bubble. In fact, the RFK Racing driver has some good tracks to close out the campaign, so he needs to keep delivering moving forward.
