Saturday, 7 November (3:30 p.m.): BVB vs. SV Elversberg Following the top-of-the-table clash against record champions FC Bayern Munich, this coming weekend brings a stark contrast: SV Elversberg is playing in the Bundesliga for the first time ever and has so far managed to stay clear of the relegation zone. BVB, which has earned ten out of twelve points at home in the Bundesliga so far, is determined to pick up points against the newcomer.

Sunday, 15 November (3:00 p.m.): BVB Women vs. FC Schalke 04 It’s derby time at Rote Erde Stadium! The BVB Women host FC Schalke 04 for a neighborhood showdown and are aiming to set a new attendance record. The capacity of the Rote Erde will be increased to 17,555 seats for this match, which would mark the largest crowd ever for a women’s regional league game. Against their direct rival for promotion to the 2nd Bundesliga, head coach Markus Högner’s team is clearly aiming for a derby victory.

Saturday, 21 November (3:30 p.m.): Borussia Mönchengladbach – BVB The “Borussians” derby is one of the Bundesliga’s most historic matches. Borussia Dortmund and Borussia Mönchengladbach will face off in the league for the 109th time. Mönchengladbach lost their first six Bundesliga matches of the current season but secured their first win with a 3-2 away victory at VfB Stuttgart on Matchday 7. From BVB’s perspective, the head-to-head record stands at 46 wins, 29 draws, and 33 losses.

Saturday, 21 November (7:00 p.m.): BVB Women’s Handball – HSG Blomberg-Lippe HSG Blomberg-Lippe, the reigning German champions, will be visiting Dortmund; they also won the Super Cup against the BVB women’s handball team in August. The match in Munich was a real nail-biter that wasn’t decided until the penalty shootout. Now the two teams will face off again in the Alsco Women’s Handball Bundesliga. It’s a true four-point game between two top teams in the HBF.

Tuesday, 24 November (9:00 p.m.): Arsenal FC vs. BVB In the final week of November, the Black and Yellows travel to face reigning English champions Arsenal FC. The London club reached the UEFA Champions League final last season but lost narrowly to Paris Saint-Germain, 3–4, in a penalty shootout. Arsenal and BVB last crossed paths in the Champions League twelve years ago. Back then, the Gunners came out on top with a 2–0 victory. Current coach Mikel Arteta was still playing in midfield for Arsenal in that match.
