Bills waive rookie RB from IR after clearing waivers

Desmond Reid, a rookie running back from the University of Pittsburgh, was released from IR by the Buffalo Bills on Monday after an undisclosed injury suffered at one of the spring practices.

Reid was originally waived on June 11 with the injury following being signed by the team on May 8 after going undrafted.

The procedural move here allows Reid to sign with another club and hints at Reid’s injury not being a 2026 season-ender.
