Bayern Munich’s luck this season has been questionable at best, and apparently, even the people running the club cannot escape the curse.
Per @iMiaSanMia, Bayern Munich has announced that sporting director Max Eberl will be unable to travel to London for this evening’s Ballon d’Or ceremony because he has come down with a cold. While it is hardly the most serious setback the club has faced, it is another stroke of bad luck in what has been a remarkably eventful stretch for the Bavarian giants.
Eberl will miss the opportunity to represent Bayern Munich at one of football’s biggest individual award ceremonies, where Harry Kane is among the players hoping to receive recognition for his performances.
Between the injury concerns and Vincent Kompany’s recent health scare, Bayern Munich could certainly use a break from the misfortune.
Apparently, even attending an awards ceremony is proving difficult for this club. Get well soon, Max!
