Bayern Munich’s goalscorer Aleksandar Pavlović wants to move on from World Cup debacle after dominant friendly win

Aleksandar Pavlović is choosing to look forward rather than dwell on Germany’s disappointing World Cup campaign.

Reflecting on the tournament, the Bayern Munich midfielder made it clear that he is using the experience as motivation rather than allowing it to define him.

“You have to take positives from every setback. I’ve done that. Now I’m just looking forward to the season so I can show what I can do and achieve success with the team,” Pavlović said (as captured by @iMiaSanMia).

It is a mature response from the 22-year-old, who continues to establish himself as one of Bayern Munich’s most important young players. While the World Cup did not end the way he or Germany had hoped, Pavlović is focused on turning that disappointment into fuel for the months ahead.

With a new Bundesliga season about to begin soon, he will have another opportunity to continue his development and cement his place in Bayern Munich’s midfield. If his mentality is any indication, Pavlović is determined to ensure that one setback becomes the foundation for future success.
