Bayern Munich will welcome VfB Stuttgart to the Allianz Arena on Friday for the first match of the new Bundesliga season.

There is better news elsewhere: 18-year-old prospect Lennart Karl has recovered from a muscle fibre injury and is back in the squad, and new signing Ismael Saibari has fully recovered from a recent minor knock and is available for selection.
Kompany is expected to use a strong 4-2-3-1 setup, likely featuring Harry Kane up front with Michael Olise, Nathaniel Brown and Luis Díaz supporting, and Manuel Neuer organising the defence.
