According to David Ornstein of The Athletic, Bayern Munich are considering a swoop for Liverpoolleague-update-for-6-4-26/">8217;s teenage talent Rio Ngumoha.
The Bundesliga champions are keen to add a young player to bolster their options on the left side of attack, and Ngumoha fits the designs of head coach Vincent Kompany perfectly.
They are, however, yet to make contact with Liverpool over this matter, and the Premier League side insist there will be no sale of one of their most coveted players for the future. In fact, the emergence of Ngumoha is one of the reasons why Liverpool chose not to sign a replacement when they sold Luis Diaz to Bayern last year.
Ngumoha didn’t get as many minutes as some fans would’ve liked under Arne Slot, but the development of young players is one of the strengths of newly appointed Liverpool boss Andoni Iraola.
In September 2025, Ngumoha signed his first professional contract, devised to keep him at Liverpool until the end of the 2027-28 season.
