Gargett spent two seasons at Kentucky, where he played in 52 games with 30 starts and was a career .243 hitter with 28 hits, two home runs, 18 RBIs and eight stolen bases. The Horned Frogs have seemingly prepared for his departure, gaining commitments from Midland College infielder Bammer Maes and Coastal Carolina infielder/outfielder Trace Mazon. Gargett is the second TCU infielder to declare for the portal (Jack Bell).
