Barcelona star responds to Arsenal transfer links

Barcelona star Dani Olmo has this weekend spoken out on the recent transfer speculation surrounding his name.

This comes amid the understanding that the midfielder has made his way onto the radar of Premier League champions Arsenal with a view to next season.

Olmo is for his part fresh off a productive campaign in Catalunya’s capital in 2025/26.

Across the length of the season, the Spanish international took to the pitch on a considerable 49 occasions, chipping in with eight goals and 10 assists along the way.

Such exploits have given rise to fresh chatter surrounding Olmo’s future at the Camp Nou, amid claims of transfer interest on the part of the aforementioned Arsenal.

If the latest comments on the part of the 28-year-old are anything to go by, however, then Olmo appears to have no plans to bid farewell to Barcelona any time soon.

Drawn on his Emirates links during an interview with Mundo Deportivo this weekend, the former RB Leipzig standout assured:

“No, Barça fans can rest easy. As far as I’m concerned, there’s nothing to say.”
