Earlier valuations were said to be around €25 million, with a further €15 million in performance-related add-ons.

However, Palmeiras have since adopted a firmer stance and now believe any future transfer would need to exceed €50 million.

The club’s approach reflects their desire to maximise both Conceicao’s development and his eventual transfer value.

Following the Endrick and Estevao model

Palmeiras see Conceicao as another elite academy product capable of commanding a significant transfer fee, following the examples of Endrick and Estevao.

Endrick joined Real Madrid in a deal agreed in December 2022 worth €72 million, comprising €35 million in fixed payments, €25 million in bonuses and €12 million in taxes.

Estevao was sold to Chelsea in the summer of 2024 for an initial €45 million, with a further €20 million in potential add-ons.

Those transfers have become the benchmark for Palmeiras as they plan Conceicao’s future.

Previous offers rejected

According to the report, Palmeiras have already turned down offers from English clubs worth between €20 million and €25 million.

The report also states that Jurgen Klopp, while previously serving as Red Bull’s Global Head of Football, submitted an initial offer of around €7 million, followed by a second proposal worth €10 million. Both bids were rejected.

Barcelona tracking Conceicao’s progress

Barcelona have had their eyes on Conceicao for a while now and had been monitoring the Brazilian prodigy during the Copinha youth tournament.

While the club were impressed by the winger’s performances, Barça’s priority remained investing heavily in an established centre-forward rather than a teenage prospect.

Even so, Conceicao continues to be viewed as one of the most promising young players in Brazilian football, and the Catalans remain among the clubs keeping a close watch on his development.
