Baptist College of Theology, Benin announces 2026/2027 Conversion Programme

The Management of the Baptist College of Theology, Benin, in affiliation with Ambrose Alli University (AAU), Ekpoma, has officially opened applications for its prestigious Conversion Programme for the 2026/2027 Academic Session.

This specialized programme is tailored for graduates holding a Bachelor of Theology (B.Th) or a Bachelor of Religious Education (BRE) who seek to transition their qualifications into university-recognized degrees. Successful candidates will be eligible to convert their existing diplomas into:

• Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Religious Studies
• Bachelor of Arts Education (B.A.Ed.) in Religious Studies

The academic structure is designed as a Modular Sandwich Contact, with the first semester contact scheduled to begin in July 2026.

Admission Requirements

To be considered for the 2026/2027 intake, applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Hold a B.Th or BRE from a recognized Theological Institution within Nigeria.
• Have attained a minimum grade of Second Class Lower or Lower Credit.
• Ensure academic transcripts are forwarded directly from their previous institution to the College.
• Provide valid ‘O’ Level results, a Birth Certificate, and Local Government Identification.

Duration and Financial Requirements

The conversion course spans a duration of two academic sessions (2 years).

Tuition Fees: ₦125,000 (per first semester modular sandwich contact)
