Ballon d’Or 2026: He’s extremely talented – Mbappe responds to Lamine Yamal’s comments

Real Madrid striker, Kylian Mbappe has responded to Barcelona winger, Lamine Yamal’s comments on the 2026 Ballon d’Or.

Yamal recently claimed that he and Mbappe are currently the two best players in the world who should compete for the Ballon d’Or.

The Spain international also insisted that he deserves the prize more than the France captain.

When asked about Yamal’s comments, Mbappe described the 19-year-old as an extremely talented player and wished him all the best.

The France captain told Jose Felix Diaz, editorial director of AS, ahead of Real Madrid’s clash with Atletico Madrid on Sunday:

“I think he is an extremely talented player.

“I have a feeling he will have a brilliant career. I wish him, his family and everyone around him all the best.”
