Bailey Huckabee, Reid Link are Oct. 19-25 Akron-Area Athletes of Week

Athletes from Archbishop Hoban and Copley high schools won the voting for the Akron-Area High School Athlete of the Week for Oct. 19-25.

Bailey Huckabee is the girls winner and Reid Link wins for the boys. Huckabee, a soccer player for Hoban, received 74.5% of the votes cast. Link, who plays soccer for Copley, received 37.1% of the votes cast.

A total 5,553 votes were cast overall. Look for more on each athlete below.

Scored three goals in 13-0 win over Triway.

Reid Link, Copley soccer

Scored two goals in a 3-0 win over West Geauga in a Division III, Northeast 4 sectional final.
