The latest updates in Italy confirm that Atalanta are closing in on an agreement to sign Jonathan Rowe from Bologna in a deal in the region of €40m on the penultimate day of the summer transfer window.
Atalanta and Bologna on the verge of Rowe agreement
Atalanta have been targeting the signing of English winger Rowe for the final few weeks of the summer transfer window, and as a result of the recent speculation, the 23-year-old has been left out of the Bologna squad for their Serie A match on Monday, which just so happens to be away against Atalanta.
Domenico Tedesco confirmed on Sunday that Rowe was not in the best place to play on a mental level.
Now, according to reports from various outlets on Monday afternoon, Atalanta are closing in on a final agreement with Atalanta and are now discussing the final details of a deal.
La Dea look set to seal the deal at a guaranteed cost of €35m, plus €5m in bonuses and a 10% sell-on clause according to the latest updates from Gianluca Di Marzio.
Reports from Alfredo Pedullà suggest that Atalanta could send youngster Federico Cassa to Bologna as part of the transaction.
