Joao Gomes has completed his move from Wolves to Aston Villa in a deal reportedly worth £38m.
Villa have reportedly paid an initial £34m to sign Gomes, with a further £4m payable in add-ons.
Gomes joined Wolves in 2023 and has made 116 Premier League appearances.
The Brazilian has won 226 of 380 tackles, and last season, Gomes ranked second in the top-flight for ground duels contested (394) and won (199), while placing fourth for possession won (194).

Villa were in need of midfield reinforcements following the departure of Youri Tielemans to Manchester United, while Amadou Onana sustained a serious knee injury while representing Belgium at the World Cup.
Gomes is Villa’s second big-money signing in the space of three days, after Johan Manzambi’s £50m (€60m) arrival from Freiburg last week.
However, Villa are making a huge sale, with Morgan Rogers set to join Chelsea in a £117m transfer, a new British record.
Rogers, who has been in action for England at the World Cup, was filmed arriving for his Chelsea medical on Monday.
