Arsenal suffer transfer blow as Premier League star picks La Liga destination

William Saliba is currently sidelined with an injury and Arsenal need more depth in the defensive unit. It has no surprise that they were keen on the Tottenham star. On the other hand, Barcelona are looking to build on a title winning team so that they can dominate Spanish football and do well in the Champions League.

It remains to be seen whether the Spanish outfit can get the deal across the line. Diego Simeone is looking to add more depth to the defensive unit, and Romero should prove to be an excellent acquisition.
