Ariana Grande has sparked health concerns several times throughout her career, specifically when it comes to weight loss. Fans of the “Break Free” artist expressed their own worries when it came to Ari’s noticeably thinner physique while performing on her Eternal Sunshine Tour over the summer of 2026. But that wasn’t the first time they’ve pointed to her physique.
In the past, Ari has shut down speculation when it came to her weight and diet. In an April 2023 TikTok, the Nickelodeon alum encouraged her followers to “be gentler and less comfortable commenting on people’s bodies, no matter what.”
“I just wanted to address your concerns about my body and talk a little bit about what it means to a person with a body and to be seen … to be paid this close attention to,” the Don’t Look Up star said in the clip. “I know, personally for me, the body that you’ve been comparing my current body to was the unhealthiest version of my body. I was on a lot of antidepressants and drinking on them and eating poorly and at the lowest point of my life when I looked the way you consider my healthy. But, that in fact wasn’t my healthy.”
We explain everything we know so far about Ariana’s apparent weight loss and overall health below.

In a past Tumblr post, according to Women’s Health, the Victorious alum alum wrote, “As some of you guys may know, I’ve struggled with awful hypoglycemia for my whole life and it’s improved a ton since I changed my eating habits. I just wasn’t taking care of myself at all. I was making really poor choices. This is about making sure the foods you put in your body will nourish you and be put to good use.”
At the time, Grande noted that her vegan diet wasn’t about “being skinnier.”
“The reason why I lost so much weight as I did is because I used to live on junk food,” she went on. “So, I drastically changed my eating habits, started excising daily, and I’m all around a healthier me. … I was happy with the way I was before and I’m still happy now! Just healthier. I’m eating as much as I was before, the content has just changed. … The way I’m eating now has actually helped even out my blood sugar.”
