Are there any baseball games on tonight? MLB playoff schedule, bracket

· · 5 min read

The 2026 MLB playoffs continue this weekend with the conclusion of an unpredictable American League Division Series and the start of a National League Championship Series rematch.

But before then, baseball fans get a rare day off during the postseason.

Since both the NL Division Series didn’t need a Game 5 to decide the winner – the Milwaukee Brewers and Los Angeles Dodgers both ended their respective series in four games – there are no games on Friday, Oct. 9.

And in the American League, only the Cleveland Guardians-Chicago White Sox division series remains. The Tampa Bay Rays await the winner.

The two AL Central rivals will finish their series, one in which the road team has one all four games, on Saturday night, Oct. 10, in Cleveland.

Here’s what to know about the MLB playoff schedule, including start times, where to watch, probable pitchers and an updated bracket:

TBS will air the Cleveland Guardians vs. Chicago White Sox in Game 5 of the ALDS.

A pair of right-handed pitchers will take the mound in Game 5.

Both Burke and Williams pitched in Game 2 on Monday, Oct. 5.
