The development was contained in a statement posted on his official page.

According to the statement, verified polling unit reports collated by agents across the constituency allegedly showed strong support for the aspirant, particularly in Odigbo Local Government Area.

The statement listed the reported figures as 4,247 votes for Fajemirokun-Ajayi, 1,790 votes for Matthew Oye Oyerinmade and 788 votes for Festus Adefiranye.

It further alleged that incidents of intimidation, disruption and irregularities were recorded in some parts of the constituency during the primary exercise.

Some of the alleged incidents included disruption of voting lines, absence of electoral officials and attempts to compromise results.

The APC aspirant also raised concerns over the alleged conduct of some aides and associates linked to the Ondo State Government, describing the development as capable of affecting confidence in future party elections.

“Democracy cannot survive where intimidation replaces fairness,” the statement read.

Fajemirokun-Ajayi further called on the APC national leadership to protect party members, women, youths and minority voices from what she described as political suppression during the process.
