Anthony Edwards’ Favorite NBA Arenas Revealed, 2x All-NBA Guard Admits New York and Boston Bring the Heat

Minnesota Timberwolves star Anthony Edwards has been in the NBA since 2020. Edwards has performed in every arena in the league, and he recently revealed his favorite venues.

It’s common for stars to play better at home, since it’s the arena they are most comfortable in. Additionally, they play half of the regular-season games in their home stadium. According to Edwards, he’s gotten comfortable playing at Target Center.

The two-time All-NBA has played 218 games in his career, averaging 23.6 points, 5.3 rebounds and 4.1 assists at home. Last season, Edwards only played 29 games in front of the home crowd, averaging 27.2 points, 5.2 rebounds and 3.3 assists.

In the latest video on his YouTube channel, Anthony Edwards named his favorite arenas to play in.

“Well, of course home or Madison Square,” he said. “Madison Square, TD garden, New York, Boston, Philly, and Atlanta at home. But it’s hard to play in Madison Square Garden too. Great place. It’s hard to play there. You got to be ready for that. Boston is the same way New York is.”

Edwards has put up great games in front of the New York crowd. In January, he led the Timberwolves to a 116-99 win against the New York Knicks with a 36-point performance on 61.5% shooting from beyond the arc. He also had 13 rebounds and seven assists. At Madison Square Garden, that was his best game to date.

It’s still early in his career, and there’s a chance Edwards will have a better game at the venue in the future.
