Alex Scott out for up to two months after quad injury
Bournemouth midfielder Alex Scott could be out for the next two months after suffering a quad injury while on international duty.
The 23-year-old made his England debut in the 70th minute of the 2-0 win away to Czechia last week before enjoying his first start in the 7-0 drubbing of Croatia on Saturday. However, Scott won’t be available for the visit of the Czech on Tuesday evening after picking up a quad injury according to journalist David Ornstein of The Athletic.
Scott has now left the camp and will return to his club but the fears are that his injury could keep him out of action until December – a blow for Marco Rose’s side who face a difficult trip to Stamford Bridge once the Premier League returns.
So far this season Scott has six times for the Cherries in all competitions, scoring once and making one assist.
