Well that was weird and gross. Alabama’s offense was all but useless to open the game, and the Tide defense kept somehow losing on 50/50 YOLO balls deep down the field as they fell to a brutal 21-6 deficit.
The Tide finally figured something out, though, and put together a 12 play drive that ended with a touchdown to freshman Cederian Morgan. Then we had another lightning delay.
For whatever reason, that delay seemed to flip a switch. The Tide nabbed an interception, then got a big TD to Ryan Coleman-Williams on a wing pass. Then the defense got another stop, and Keelon Russell carved them up with a handful of amazing downfield passes.
Somehow, Alabama wound up ending the half with a 26-21 lead.
hope for the best in half two. Roll Tide!
