Alabama is three wins away from reaching the United States Championship game in the 2026 Little League World Series.
The journey continues on Tuesday, August 25 as Phenix City faces Tacoma, Washington — the squad that opened up Alabama’s time in Williamsport, Pennsylvania with a loss despite the efforts of Kinley Rasmus on the mound.
Rasmus helped keep Phenix City’s Little League World Series hopes alive on Monday when she took the mound in the third inning, after which Alabama came back from a 5-run deficit to win 6-5 in walk-off fashion.
Should Phenix City fall to Washington, the Northwest representatives, again when the teams meet at 2 p.m. CT (ESPN), Alabama’s first LLWS run since 1999 will be over.
