Al Nassr coach, Postecoglou speaks after team scores six goals without Ronaldo

Al-Nassr manager, Ange Postecoglou has played down suggestions that they are a more effective team in attack without Cristiano Ronaldo.

The Saudi Pro League side thrashed Pakhtakor 6-2 in an AFC Champions League clash on Monday.

Ronaldo did not feature in the match, as he was left out of the squad for the game against the Uzbek side.

The 41-year-old was rested for the fixture despite scoring a 15-minute hat-trick in Al-Nassr’s previous domestic game.

“Cris played the last game and we scored five goals.

“If Cris plays, doesn’t play, what is the most important is the players who played today performed at a very strong level,” Postecoglou said.
