AEW Shockingly Announces the Sudden Passing of Pac, FKA Neville in WWE

AEW has revealed that 24 hours after competing at All Out on Saturday, Pac has tragically passed away.

“All Elite Wrestling is saddened to announce the passing of Benjamin Satterley, aka Pac,” the company revealed in a social media post on Sunday night. “A native of Newcastle upon Tyne, England, Satterley began his wrestling career in 2004 and went on to perform for wrestling organizations all over the world, captivating fans with innovative high-flying moves and incredible in-ring ability.

“Pac signed with All Elite Wrestling in 2019 and held multiple AEW Championships and competed in some of the most memorable matches in AEW history. Our condolences go out to Satterley’s family, friends, and fans.”

The 40-year-old had just competed on Saturday in a losing effort against Andrade. His passing is completely stunning, and no details have yet emerged on the cause of death.

Pac signed with WWE in 2012 and would emerge as a major star in the early days of NXT when it was run by current WWE CCO Triple H. Under the name of Neville, he would go on to win the NXT Tag Team Title and the NXT Title.

Three years later, he would make the move up to the main roster, where he won the now-defunct WWE Cruiserweight Title twice. He was granted his release in 2018 and would make the jump to AEW the following year.

In All Elite Wrestling, he won the International/All-Atlantic and the Trios title twice. Once with Penta El Zero M and Rey Fénix, and then with Claudio Castagnoli and Wheeler Yuta. He was also part of the Death Triangle and Death Riders factions in the company.
