ADSU announces newly promoted staff

The Vice-Chancellor Adamawa State University, Mubi Prof. Augustine Clement has announced the promotion of a Professor and two (2) Associate Professors.

The Announcement was made on the floor of Senate at its 130th Meeting held on Thursday 24th July, 2025 at the University Senate Chamber.

This followed the receipt of their successful external assessment report by the University.

While making the announcement, the Vice-Chancellor congratulated the newly promoted staff and charged them to be more dedicated to their duties and engage in ground- breaking research.

The newly promoted staff are as follows:

1. Dr. Umaru D. Jongur (Professor), Political Science

2. Dr. Domo Gama Albert (Reader), Parasitology

3. Dr. Maryam Ahmed Usman (Reader), Medical Biochemistry and Enzymology.
