Adorable interruption! Baby pitch invader crashes San Jose-Minnesota

We may have found the breakout performer of MLS Matchday 22.

Play was briefly paused during second-half stoppage time of Saturday’s Western Conference showdown between the San Jose Earthquakes and Minnesota United FC at PayPal Park, when a pint-sized pitch invader made their way onto the field.

The youngster was quickly escorted off, but not before joining an illustrious group of unexpected MLS pitch invaders, from last year’s baby cameo in D.C. to the legendary Raccinho.

Unfortunately for San Jose, the surprise substitute couldn’t spark a late comeback, with Minnesota seeing out a 5-1 victory.
