Sky’s the limit for the Las Vegas Acesafter they eliminated the Indiana Fever in the first round of the playoffs on Thursday. With A’ja Wilson playing dominantly as usual, the Aces defeated the Fever, 94-83, in Game 3 at Michelob ULTRA Arena.

Wilson tallied a game-high 36 points on 11-of-18 shooting, adding 10 rebounds and two blocks. The Aces kicked the Fever out of the playoffs for the second straight year.

The Aces could not help but troll after their victory, posting the crazy plane girl meme on X.

The team was likely referencing Wilson’s heated spat with a fan at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Game 2. The fan, who was seated behind the basket, pointed and screamed at the four-time MVP in the fourth quarter after getting fouled by Sophie Cunningham. Wilson did not take it sitting down and confronted the fan.

Wilson was called for a technical foul, while the fan was escorted to a different part of the arena.

The Aces’ post quickly grabbed attention.

“Who is running this account tonight? LOL,” asked @KariDaniels.

“Best use of this meme all year,” said @mzbunnie.

“Nah, I’m really crying 😂😂😂,” added @MarQayla_JaMes.

“Y’all play too much 😭,” wrote @AmiKK30.

“I’VE BEEN WAITING FOR UNHINGED ADMIN ALL SEASON 😭😭😭😭,” commented @_jordanbriana.

I’m an ATL stan, but because of this meme, I’m following you,” stated @wilbronen.

The Aces can have fun as they await the winner of Game 3 between the Golden State Valkyries and the Dallas Wings.

But once it is time to take flight in the semifinals, best believe that the defending champions will turn serious. That should be a pointed warning.
