ABU Zaria issues notice to newly admitted students on collection of ID Cards

The management of Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria, through the University Security Services, has officially announced the commencement of the identity card collection exercise for all newly admitted undergraduate students for the 2025/2026 academic session.

​According to an official notice pasted on campus, the exercise applies directly to 100 Level students and 200 Level Direct Entry (DE) students, whose identity cards are now ready for collection.

​The collection exercise is scheduled to kick off on Monday, 8th June, 2026. Operations will run daily from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm at the I.D Card Office, A.B.U. Security Headquarter.

​The Collection Schedule by Faculty

​To ensure an orderly process, management has structured the collection schedule based on faculties as follows:

​Faculty of Basic Medical Science

​Faculty of Pharmaceutical Science

​Strict Requirements and Compliance Regulations

​The university management has outlined specific guidelines that students must follow to receive their cards:

​In-Person Appearance: Every student must appear physically to collect their card; collection by proxy is not allowed.

​Mandatory Document: Students must bring along a photocopy of their official admission letter.

​Strict Schedule Adherence: Students are strictly warned to stick to the specific day allocated to their faculty. The management explicitly stated that students will not be attended to if they come on any day outside their designated faculty schedule.

​The notice was officially issued by the Management of University Security Services, Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria.
