2028 Olympics Qualifier: Super Falcons camp swells to 18 players ahead of Comoros clash

The Super Falcons camp in Ijebu Ode is gradually filling up ahead of Nigeria’s 2028 Olympic Games qualifier against Comoros, with 18 players now in camp.

The latest arrivals are Toni Payne, Christy Ucheibe, and Janet Akekoromowei, who joined the team as preparations intensify for the crucial encounter.

Fourteen players took part in the team’s first training session on Monday evening.

The Super Falcons are scheduled to hold another training session tonight at the Otunba Dipo Dina International Stadium, Ijebu Ode.

 The first 15 minutes of the session will be open to members of the media and the public.

Captain Rasheedat Ajibade, goalkeepers Chiamaka Nnadozie and Comfort Erhabor, defender Michelle Alozie, and forwards Gift Monday, Uchenna Kanu, and Joy Omewa are still expected to join the squad in camp.
