2027: Bindow returns to APC after resigning from ADC

Former Adamawa State Governor, Mohammed Bindow, has officially returned to the All Progressives Congress, APC, and formally re-registered as a member of the party in his ward in Mubi.

This was disclosed by an APC chieftain, Ayekooto Akindele, who stated that Bindow’s return was witnessed by the Mubi APC Chairman, Alhaji Ahmadu Guruja, alongside thousands of supporters, political associates, friends, family members and well-wishers who gathered to receive him.

Bindow, speaking after his registration, noted that his decision followed extensive consultations with political associates and confidants.

He equally stressed that his return was consistent with his long-standing commitment to party discipline and his position against anti-party activities.

According to the former governor, he had also held consultations with his brother and close political confidant, Vice President Kashim Shettima, before making the decision.

He further recalled his recent meeting with President Bola Tinubu, describing the encounter as cordial and memorable, adding that the President expressed happiness over his return to the APC family.

He also endorsed all APC candidates and pledged his full support for the party’s success at the polls.
