2027: Atiku beginning to sound like a sound bite — Rufai

Arise News anchor, Rufai Oseni, has faulted the incessant promises of the African Democratic Congress, ADC, presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar.

Speaking during Arise Television’s ‘Morning Show’ on Friday, Rufai said the former vice president is beginning to sound like a sound bite.

DAILY POST recalls that Atiku had pledged to reinstate the fuel subsidy regime if elected president of Nigeria in the forthcoming 2027 general elections.

According to Atiku, the removal of the fuel subsidy by President Bola Tinubu’s administration has not yielded any benefit for Nigeria.

The ADC presidential candidate equally pledged to reopen all borders across the northern part of Nigeria to pave the way for legitimate businesses.

Reacting, the broadcaster said, “Atiku Abubakar is beginning to sound like a public sound bite to me.

“Let’s stop all these hypes. At least, we should thank him that, because of him, President Tinubu has directed CNG to reduce its prices.”
