2027: APC has what it takes to defeat Makinde’s APM – Alli

The gubernatorial candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in the 2027 elections in Oyo State, Senator Sharafadeen Abiodun Alli, has declared that the party has what it takes to defeat Governor Seyi Makinde’s Allied Peoples Movement, APM.
He said the party has been strategically positioned to win all the forthcoming elections in the state.

Alli, who represents Oyo South Senatorial District at the National Assembly, said this in Ibadan on Monday.

Addressing a gathering, he explained that the party had put everything required in place to win the presidential, National Assembly, governorship and House of Assembly elections in the state.

He used the opportunity to charge members of the party to intensify grassroots mobilisation ahead of the elections.

Alli said, “We are strategically positioned to win the presidential, National Assembly, governorship and House of Assembly elections in Oyo State in 2027.

“But victory requires hard work at the grassroots. We must go to the people, engage them and strengthen our structures across the state.

“This is not about individuals. It is about the party and our collective responsibility to build a stronger APC in Oyo State.”
