2026 University of New Brunswick Scholarship in Canada | Fully Funded

The University of New Brunswick (UNB) Scholarship 2026 offers fully funded graduate research opportunities for international students interested in pursuing MSc or PhD studies in Canada.

The available positions are based in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at UNB’s Fredericton campus and will be supervised by Professor Jie Chen. Research areas include artificial intelligence, wireless communications, optimization, and emerging 5G/6G technologies.

Eligibility Requirements

Applicants should generally have:

• A background in Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
• A strong undergraduate academic record with a minimum GPA of 3.3
• For PhD applicants, a relevant Master’s degree with an excellent academic record
• Previous research publications are preferred for PhD applicants
• The required level of English proficiency for admission
