2026 Tour Championship leaderboard updates for Thursday’s first-round at East Lake

Where did the year go? It’s almost September, college football kicks off this week and the PGA Tour season has reached its FedEx Cup Playoffs finale. Time flies when you’re having fun.

After 34 regular-season events an two playoff tournaments, the 2026 Tour Championship is here, the third and final event on the postseason docket.

Who’s going to win the $10 million first-place prize? Will there be a repeat FedEx Cup champion for the first time in the 20-year history of the playoffs? All those questions and more will be answered over the next four days.

You can see all 15 pairings and starting times for East Lake here. The first twosome is off at 11 a.m. ET and the final group starts at 2 p.m. ET. The field of 30 includes world No. 1 Scottie Scheffler, who battled a contagious virus last week but says he’s feeling better.

What kind of prize money is on the line at the Tour Championship? First place is good for $10 million, the top eight finishers all clear seven figures and even last place is worth $355,000.

According to accuweather, Thursday is expected to be “humid with a p.m. thunderstorm or two,” as there is a 90 percent chance of rain and a high of 87.

This is the 20th year of the FedEx Cup Playoffs. No one has won the Tour Championship in consecutive years. Tommy Lad has the chance to be the first.
