2 Falcons stars make top 25 players under 25 list

The Atlanta Falcons may not be all that talented compared to the competition, at least if we’re going by the new positional rankings from ESPN which have them placed 30th at quarterback and just 26th overall.

Where the Falcons are best they are truly special, though.

The latest evidence here is the top-25 players under 25 years old from Mike Jones at The Athletic, where two Atlanta stars made the cut and another earned an honorable mention.

Naturally, superstar running back Bijan Robinson ranked highest, coming in at No. 9 on his list, one spot below Rams wide receiver Puka Nacua and one ahead of Colts cornerback Sauce Gardner.

Rising star wide receiver Drake London also earned a place on the list, coming in at No. 24, just head of Dallas Cowboys wide receiver George Pickens in the final spot.

“London has recorded at least 68 catches and 900 receiving yards in each of the last three seasons, and if not for injury, he very well may have matched his 2024 production (100 catches, 1,271 yards, nine touchdowns) last season. Instead, he posted 68 catches, 919 yards and seven touchdowns in 12 games.”

Tight end Kyle Pitts was also numbered among the honorable mentions.

These three represent the young nucleus of the Falcons’ roster – and will lead them for the foreseeable future – at least until the organization can find a real franchise quarterback. Hopefully they can land one while these three key pieces are still in their prime years.
