You are hungry because you are lazy - Tinubu campaign DG, Yari tells Nigerians

The Director-General of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Presidential Campaign Council, Abdulaziz Yari, says many Nigerians are hungry because they are lazy.

Yari made this assertion on Saturday at the APC presidential campaign rally in Port Harcourt, Rivers State capital.

The former Zamfara State governor stated that hunger in Nigeria is not only caused by the government but also by laziness among Nigerians.

“You are hungry because you are lazy. If you work hard, you will not be hungry,” Yari said.

According to him, many Nigerians do not want to work, stressing that they want to sit at home and wait for money to come.

The former lawmaker also noted that in those days, people went to the farm and worked in the morning and ate in the evening.

He added that today, many young people do not want to farm, learn a trade but only want to press phone and blame the government.
