· · 2 min read

WWE’s ‘very nice, very evil’ Danhausen has become quite popular in recent weeks after he ‘cursed’ the New York Knicks’ opponents in the NBA playoffs.

The former AEW star began to make waves online last month when the Knicks were drawn against the Cleveland Cavaliers in the playoffs.

The Cavaliers are supported by The Miz, another wrestler whom Danhausen has been feuding with on WWE TV.

In turn, he ‘cursed’ the Cleveland-based team before they ended up losing all four of their games to the New York Knicks, who are now on a 43-day undefeated streak.

Danhausen makes ‘powerful’ claim as New York Knicks remain undefeated

Danhausen has reacted to the streak on X/Twitter this week after the Knicks most recently secured a 105-104 win over the San Antonio Spurs.

Responding to a tweet from ESPN about the Knicks, he wrote: “Has anyone thought about how powerful Danhausen is yet today? KNICKSHAUSEN”

The Knicks now have a 2-0 lead in the final, with their third game set to take place on June 8.

What Danhausen wants to keep the New York Knicks uncursed

While it is all a bit of harmless fun between the two sports, the fact that the Knicks are on such a good run after Danhausen uncursed them is pretty amazing.

However, the WWE superstar does have some demands to ensure that the NBA powerhouse remains curse-free.

As quoted by Fightful earlier this week, he told The Knicks: “Stephen A. Smith, your checks have cleared so far.

“However, if you want to keep this un-cursing going, perhaps Danhausen is gonna need his own TV show or more monies or perhaps those courtside seats.

“No big deal. You have until tip-off time to decide what happens with the curse.”

Given how well the Knicks are faring right now, it may be best for all involved if Danhausen is kept happy.
